As an entrepreneur, it’s important to keep your investors close, but your customers even closer. Lumos had hundreds of conversations with their target group before they narrowed upon a product that would fill a market need. They involved new potential customers at each stage. Right from seeking feedback on the design, to refining the product features, to getting the prototypes tested- the tester feedback helped streamline the product-building process. Eventually, this built a sense of ownership and testers became their early adopters and the brand ambassadors.
