Making the Big Impact – A Discussion on Strategic Thinking (By Invite Only)
One of the keys to becoming a great leader is the ability to think strategically. Strategic thinking is required to bridge the big picture and operational realities, allowing managers to build successful responses to changing global realities and dynamic business priorities. Strategic thinking requires managers to take a step back to look at their jobs holistically and at the same time deep dive into details to make the required impact. It requires deliberating on the ‘what’ and ‘why’ without losing sight on the ‘how’ and ‘when’. But this is not easy as operational challenges can leave little or no room for such deliberation. This session aims to address these questions: How can Managers develop this ability? What are the elements that go into strategic thinking? How can strategic thinking be then converted into operational planning and goals for self, team and the organization?
